Gestalt forms of the Anthropocene, Water / Coral uses the everyday location of bus stops to challenge audiences. Communicating the damage caused by collective individual actions heating-up the planet, leading to bleaching events which extinguish reefs globally. It exposes the coral habitat as it undergoes its demise, from colourful visuals transforming over time to skeletal remains. The print is simultaneously altered and activated by live bleaching events, making the invisible landscape visible. Please click to view process.
